they say im on the do not rent list! i couldnt stay and my reservation was non refundable. so they re book my room and get paid for my stay!

They wouldn't let me check in because I didn't have my current id but I had my passport and they would not check me in even though the room was paid for 3 days.. I lost all the money and was not reimbursed through.

It was extremely ancient, garage sale type furnishings, creepy, smelly like old cigarettes. Had it not been so late I wouldnt have stayed. Booked online, sight unseen. Big mistake.

For the price this place is perfect! I have stayed twice now and I will say the nonsmoking rooms are much better, cleaner and in the more quiet building. It is in walking distance to food, stores, and bars. Really you can't beat this location for the price!

Initially rude onsite employee almost harassed me to leave during the time of my transferring money from savings to checking. Did not accept tap pay and I had to go get cash at a nearby ATM to pay for room. I dont know, I was talking to a guest who was checking out that day and saw how the on-site employee thought I was with that party and he just harassed us all. Im just not use to not seeing first class guest services to a potential guest alongside a guest whos ready to conclude their stay. It truly felt that they just did not care. Im not into writing bad reviews and I normally wouldnt do this unless the experience truly warranted the review in which case this experience did. I doubt I would stay there again even if this was the last hotel in Costa Mesa. Watch out for the bigger long dark hair guy-
